I started to post images that inspire me.
Lately, I change my way of drawing. I become more mature and certainly less shy. I change form but not substance . And especially I'm done with my choices and justifications that too, it's been a very foolish! So here I go again
for new adventures!!
The first is called Grrrl . The first volume is expected to arrive in bookstores in January 2012. And the second volume will follow. (Hopefully! Provided! Provided!). It So a story in two volumes and this will be a story in comics. I'll talk more when all is well as it should, on the right track.
Soon I will publish an FAQ on this blog. Again sorry for my delay ...

Chemistry Of Ice Skating

Again, this is the neglect of the blog, emails, comments ... sorry! I do not express, Be safe! I'm too dissipated ... Certainly.
Today, the studio Gottferdom is empty. (The studio Gottferdom is where I work). They all went to Angouleme. We're just two of us left, the other party weekend. It's funny, everyone said that the festival of Angouleme was dead, no. And then everyone rushes anyway.
I've never been invited. I would love to see what it looks like one day.
Grrrl I'm working on which should be signed shortly. I have two publishers interested. Hoping they do not scroll ... is that until the contract is not signed, it is never safe. One could also say that while the book is not in bookstores, it is never safe. So I cross my fingers!
I am happy with this new project. I think it's really good, and it is especially true to myself. Different in form but still the same in the background. And since this time, I also directs the script, I'm really going to say what I have to heart.
With this project, I move, I say. I'm progressing! And best of all (it's still personal by cons), I reappropriates myself. It's as if I was lost at some point without realizing it, and suddenly I was recovering my hands on it. It's exhilarating! So
Grrrl will be very personal! Sometimes it appears to me as a ritual when I'd finished, I belong to me again, entirely. Bizarre? Yes completely! I think it's part of the mystique of the creative process.
... I hope you understand what I mean ...
I feel short of making good job since it treats me the same work.
More technically (I Quit the melodrama). I had already made the comics but no feature film. Although a few attempts. Here, I apply what I learned in recent years: storyboard, narration, cutting, framing. Some weaknesses yet, but the result is good. Extraordinary by cons. I think that I continue to walk on the paths of Bohemia.
I show my work to friends cartoonists to be sure not to stumble: Simon Van Liemt, Eric Cartier, Remi Torregrossa. Close friends and good advice! For now, I have their blessing and this has result of making me hope!
For this opus, I immerse myself in other influences. An illustrator of the early 20th, a Mexican Posada. American designers like Charles Burns and Daniel Clowes. And then the music that has always mattered less. I get out my old records rockabilly: straycat, Levi Dexter, The Cramps, Reverend Horton Heat etc..
Besides last night I went to a concert Marilyn & the Rockin ' bombs. That was really great! I also spoke with Marilyn to a special event for the release of Grrrl: concert, dedication show. Whole thing about our universe.
There is not but nice to talk.
Regarding key changes again, I'm bearded. This is the revolution of hair! Haha! Ca I aged a little, which is not bad: I'm tired of being treated like a kid. Even by people younger than me ... Good
back to work! It does not advance or else!
